Join the Club!

Lake Tahoe
Considering a new or additional Perennial Vacation Club membership? Now is a perfect time to join! Here are just a few of the many benefits of membership:
  1. Our Club is debt-free. Without the burden of mortgages, or debts incurred for furniture or other upgrades, we can weather many storms that others simply can’t. We also remain on the lowest tier of maintenance fees among vacation clubs. How can we do this? As a non-profit club, we don’t have to support developers or larger enterprises, such as Marriott or Disney. We keep our focus on doing what we do best: helping our members create vacations that enrich their lives.
  2. As a member, you can always add additional nights (or even weeks) at any of our beautiful home resorts at extremely affordable rates!
  3. Our popular refer-a-friend program! Members receive a FREE bonus week AND free direct exchange or world bank, when they refer friends or family to us and they buy a membership.
  4. We’ve made excellent use of the current times to deep clean all of our units, inside and out. We’ve also been busy upgrading furniture, remodeling bathrooms and continuing to enhance our Wi-Fi.
  5. Most of our units offer full kitchens (and the handful of studios offer partial kitchens). We also offer outdoor grills, and the ability to borrow items such as slower cookers from the front desk.
  6. All of our locations offer a free lending library of movies and books. We also provide brand-new packs of playing cards (when available). There are lots of options for staying entertained!
  7. Most importantly, we take great pride in our award-winning staff, many of whom have been with us for years (even decades, in some cases).

Thinking of joining or adding an additional membership? Patricia, our Membership Development Director, would love to tell you more and help you find the best options for you!

Ready to plan your next adventure? We’re ready for you! Lately we’re receiving an increased number of calls for bookings, including extended stays and rentals. If you’re planning a visit, don’t delay! We can’t wait to welcome you!

You’ll be on a Perennial Vacation… it’s time to go out and play!

Year-Round Fun in Daytona

Daytona Beach Shores

No matter when you’re planning to visit Daytona Beach, there are always lots of activities to choose from! Here are a few of our favorites that are held year-round:

  • The Daytona Beach’s Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday between 7:00 a.m. and noon (now held on Magnolia Avenue, not City Island). This popular event has a rich history, a fabulous location and great vendors. Come explore food products, farm produce, crafts, flowers and more.
  • The Casements is a Rockefeller home located in Ormond Beach. It offers daily tours of the beautiful home and grounds, Monday through Saturday. Various events and festivals are also held throughout the year. The first Friday of each month, watch a movie under the stars in the Rockefeller Gardens!
  • The Halifax Harbor Marina Dinner & River Cruise is an all-inclusive 2 hour event, complete with dinner and music. Be sure to book in advance. The food is very good, and includes a kids’ menu.

Summer in Tahoe 2021

  • Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor: Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy live theater right on the lake! This year includes the Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), an irreverent and lightning-paced romp through some of the greatest plays of all time.
  • 4th of July Lights on the Lake Fireworks: Each year, Lake Tahoe puts on a spectacular fireworks show to celebrate the 4th. NBC’s Today Show calls it one of the top fireworks display in the country! Follow the link to find some of the top spots to view the event.
  • The American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Tournament at Edgewood: July 6th-11th, pro athletes and Hollywood celebrities will compete in this ever-popular event at one of Lake Tahoe’s most beautiful golf courses.
  • Hot August Nights: Celebrating America’s love of classic cars and rock ‘n roll, this year’s event will be held in Virginia City on July 30th-31st and Reno/Sparks on August 3rd-8th.

A tour of the historic Virginia City or a Thunderbird Lodge Tour (by land, boat or kayak) might round out those summer days… what are your favorite ways to spend summer in Tahoe?

Summer in Bandera

Poolside in Bandera

Planning a trip to the Texas Hill Country this summer? Here are a few favorite events happening in July and August:

  • For July 4th, check out Robert Earl Keen’s 4th on the River. Located in Kerrville, this all-day event features live music, food and beer, bounce houses and the largest fireworks display in the Texas Hill Country.
  • The 3rd Saturday in July is Night in Old Fredericksburg, a summer evening of food, live music, an evening dance and a chili cook-off.
  • August 26th-29th is the annual Gillespie County Fair, the oldest county fair in Texas.

Or perhaps you’d enjoy tubing and kayaking on the Medina River, a visit to the San Antonio Zoo or the always popular Cowboys on Main in Bandera. How do you like to spend summer in the Hill Country?
