HOME RESORT RESERVATIONS

 

From the mountains of Tahoe Village and The Eagles’ Nest, to the beaches of Daytona, to the beautiful Hill Country of Bandera, your club offers a variety of gorgeous vacation destinations.

 

All home resorts operate on a Saturday check-in schedule. When contacting your Vacation Counselor, please have the following information available:

 

          - Your membership number
          - The home location you would like to travel to
          - Your preferred travel dates
          - Any special requests (a preferred unit, late check-in arrangements, handicap requirements, etc.)

 

If the resort and dates you have requested are available, your Vacation Counselor will confirm your reservation immediately. A written confirmation will be mailed to you the following business day, along with general information about the resort and your unit.

 

Members are able to book up to one year in advance. Reservations are booked based upon availability, so the earlier you can submit your request the more likely that you’ll be able to book your first choice. You may, however, submit a request at the last minute since less popular dates or cancellations may provide availability.

If you are unable to use your week during the calendar year, please refer to the World Bank Program for further information.  

 

Don’t forget to make sure that your annual club dues are current! We cannot schedule reservations if your dues are delinquent, and if they become delinquent prior to the travel date, any reservations are subject to cancellation without notice.

 

DIRECT EXCHANGES

 

Perennial Vacation Club is proud of its affiliations with over 300 Direct Exchange companies! What does this mean for our members? Easy exchanges, offered in-house, to vacation destinations all over the world.
 
What does a direct exchange cost?

          - $125 for exchanges within the continental U.S. (see a list here)
          - $150 for exchanges outside the continental U.S. (including Hawaii; see a list here)

These non-refundable exchange fees are charged when the exchange is confirmed.

 

Upgrades are available for an additional weekly fee:

          - $200 per bedroom size
          - $200 for a seasonal upgrade
          - $300 for an upgrade to Christmas and/or New Year’s week
 
When contacting your Direct Exchange Counselor, please have the following information ready:

          - Your membership number
          - The city, state or country where you would like to travel
          - Your preferred travel dates
          - The number of people traveling and your desired unit size
          - Daytime phone numbers, fax and e-mail address (so we can reach you quickly)
          - Type of resort and area amenities desired
          - Any special requests (i.e. golf nearby, air conditioning, elevator, etc.)

 

Once your request has been submitted, your Direct Exchange Counselor starts working immediately, and will automatically book your request if a match is found. Flexibility regarding the desired areas and dates may assist in obtaining your exchange. Keep in mind that these are not Perennial Vacation Club's properties and are based on availability only. Try to get your request in as soon as possible - we recommend 8 months to one year in advance.

Your Direct Exchange Counselor will contact you as soon as your reservation is confirmed. The Direct Exchange fee is due at that time. The resort that you are confirmed into will send Perennial Vacation Club your confirmation, which we will then forward to you. If you have any questions after receiving your confirmation, please contact your Direct Exchange Counselor.

WORLD BANK

 

As valuable as vacation time is, we know that sometimes it just isn’t possible to use your week during the calendar year, or perhaps you just want to save it for the future. We can help.

 

Perennial Vacation Club’s World Bank program allows our members to make the current year’s week available during the following calendar year, subject to normal reservation procedures. It costs $125 (a one-time, non-refundable fee). World Banking must be done by December 31st.

 

As always, it is best to act quickly if you know you won’t be using your current week and want to take advantage of the World Bank program, since such requests are limited and based upon availability.

II/ICE GALLERY

 

Perennial Vacation Club members are able to exchange (or bank) their weeks with other exchange companies, such as Interval International (II) and Ice Gallery.

 

The procedures for exchanging are similar to booking one of your home locations. Just contact the Reservations Department. A Vacation Counselor will schedule the next available week for exchange (equal to what you own), and will give you the information you’ll need to provide to the exchange company (including the resort location, unit number, interval/week number and scheduled dates). A written confirmation will also be sent to you.

 

Exchange companies have various requirements for exchanges, so we highly recommend that you submit your request well in advance. If you change your mind, and decide not to exchange or deposit your week, please contact your Vacation Counselor immediately.

RCI

 

Some of our members choose to exchange with RCI. To do so, first contact one of our Vacation Counselors with your RCI number. We will space-bank a reservation equal to what you own; you can then contact RCI (anytime after 24 hours have passed) to submit your vacation request.

 

As always, remember to submit your requests well in advance to ensure the best possible trading power of your deposited week!

 

RENTAL POLICY

 

A benefit of your membership with Perennial Vacation Club is the ability to rent additional time at our home locations (based upon availability). Depending on the desired week, there are various guidelines regarding how far in advance reservations can be made. Weekly rates are equal to your annual dues, plus the appropriate room tax for the location rented. Daily rates are also available. These rates are applicable to the same size accommodations reflected on your membership.

 

For members booking a rental, payment must be received upon booking.  Cancellations may be made up to 45 days prior to travel without penalty. Less than 45 days in advance are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 14 days prior notice (or 30 days for holiday periods) are subject to a loss of all rental monies.

BEDROOM & SEASON UPGRADES

 

Interested in upgrading your bedroom size? Members may do so for a fee of $200 per room size, per week (plus tax). Members may also upgrade to a different season, above the season owned, for a fee of $200 per season, per week (plus tax).

 

Upgrading is subject to availability and, depending on the week, there are guidelines on how far in advance you can do so. All upgrade fees are non-refundable and payable at time of booking.

 

CANCELLATION POLICIES

 

If you must cancel a reservation for your regular “use week(s),” your time will be returned to you for re-booking, provided:

 

          - You give the club notice at least 45 days prior to the arrival date.
          - If your “use week” has been given to an exchange company, you must notify that company and obtain a release of that week.

 

Please note:  if a member’s Maintenance Dues are delinquent, any reservations are subject to cancellation.

For Direct Exchange cancellations: cancellations MUST be made prior to confirmation to avoid an exchange fee. Otherwise, the following fees will be due:

 

          - Confirmed Vacation:  If cancellation becomes necessary at least 45 days prior to the travel date, there is a $50 fee and your "use week" will be returned to you to book later in the same calendar year. Cancellation less than 45 days prior to the travel date will result in a loss of your "use week." In both situations, all Direct Exchange fees (room upgrades, seasonality and exchange fees) are non-refundable and due immediately.

 

          - Rental Cancellation: Cancellations may be made up to 45 days prior to travel without penalty. Less than 45 days in advance are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 14 days prior notice (or 30 days for holiday periods) are subject to loss of all rental monies.

 

        - Late Check-In: Reservations are subject to cancellation 48 hours after the designated check-in day unless we receive notice of late arrival. This also applies to members traveling to a Direct Exchange location.
