Autumn in Tahoe

Lake Tahoe

Ready to plan a fall adventure to Tahoe? Here are some of our favorite activities during this beautiful time of year:

Oktoberfest can be found various places and dates from late September through October. Visit Camp Richardson during the first weekend in October or Squaw Valley on September 18th.

The Kokanee Salmon Festival at Taylor Creek celebrates the fall migration of the Kokanee salmon. This free family event is held October 6th and 7th. The public is invited to the restocking of the 12″-14″ sized trout over the course of the weekend.

Apple Hill is open year-round but is always fun during autumn. Pick apples, sample apple ciders and apple pies, visit a winery and enjoy the fall colors!
