Tahoe: Summer Road Repairs

Vacationing in Tahoe this summer? We’ve just been advised that extensive pavement repairs will be made throughout the Tahoe Village parking lots and streets this summer. This means that RVs and trailers will not be allowed in the area from May through October. This will affect both our Tahoe Village and Eagles’ Nest resorts, so please keep this in mind when you make your summer plans.

Thank you, and happy travels!

Shakespeare at Sand Harbor

Visiting Lake Tahoe this summer? Don’t miss the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor. This unique event offers professional performances of Shakespeare and other cultural events, in a casual setting on the beach at Sand Harbor. This summer, the offerings include Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew,” the Million Dollar Quarter and a diverse line-up of various live performances, running throughout July and August. This beautiful location truly offers an unforgettable experience. Find all of the details here.

Bently Heritage Estate Distillery

the Carlito still

Now open to the public! The Bently Heritage Estate Distillery, located in Minden, Nevada, is a short drive from our Tahoe resorts. The mill, over 100 years old and once the largest in the area, has been beautifully restored and modernized. Bently Ranch, located nearby, sustainably grows and harvests all of the grains used in production (and the barley is malted in-house, too).

Gin and vodka are currently offered, with whiskey coming as soon as it can be aged! Take a tour of the mill and creamery, and finish with a tasting of premium spirits while over-looking the single malt whiskey production area.
