Good Food Around Bandera

Next time you’re visiting us in Bandera, check out these nearby restaurants:

  • OST (Old Spanish Trail) Restaurant (Bandera): Saddle bar stools and a John Wayne room make this the perfect spot to visit when touring the Cowboy Capital of the World.
  • Lost Maples Cafe (Utopia): Famous for their homemade pies! Apple, Fudge Pecan, Cherry, Buttermilk…
  • Bumdoodlers Cafe (in Boerne and Kerrville): The best homemade cheese cake sandwiches and soups.
  • Camp Verde General Store & Restaurant (Camp Verde): Nestled on the shores of the Verde Creek, the General Store was first established in 1857, and rebuilt after a flood swept away the original building around 1900. A taste of history (and dinner, too)!

Who We Are

Wondering who we are at Perennial Vacation Club? Here are just a few fun facts about our unique vacation club:

  • We were founded in 1980 as the first member-owned and managed vacation club.
  • Since 1988, the club has been managed by Judge Laurence Wayne, who retired from the Texas judiciary that same year. He and his wife first became members in 1983, in order to travel with their two daughters.
  • Our board of directors are all members, and they have all been with the club for over 25 years.
  • Two of our staff members have been with us for over 28 years! Another 3 have been with us for over 23. One has been with us for over 18 years, 5 for over 13 years and 7 for over 8 years.
  • Many of our members have been with us since the very beginning, for over 37 years!

We understand the importance of vacation time, and we’re proud that so many of our members and staff have been with us for so long!

Our mission, accomplished through teamwork,

is to create vacations that enrich our members’ lives.

Visiting Lake Tahoe This Winter?

View from the Eagles’ Nest

If you love to ski, snowboard, snowshoe or just sit by the fire and gaze at the winter wonderland outside your window, you’ll be happy to know that snow is falling in Tahoe! Come visit during this magical time of year, but make sure that you’re in a safe and dependable vehicle, since winter driving can be challenging. A 4-wheel drive car is the best option for most situations (if the weather is any worse than that, we recommend staying by the fire with a warm drink!).

Happy travels!
