More Events in Daytona!

Daytona Beach Shores

Planning a trip to Daytona this fall? Here are a few additional events to consider:

  • Immerse yourself in Greek culture! For 40 years, the annual St. Demetrios Greek Festival has featured authentic traditional Greek food, music, dancing and libations. The event is held from November 8th-11th on the Halifax River at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Daytona Beach. The event is free and open to the public, which includes parking and shuttle service.
  • The Riverfest Seafood Festival in Ormond Beach features a celebration of everything water: boats, seafood and even pirates! Held from November 17th-18th, this free party is held in Rockefeller Gardens and features two fun-filled days of music, food, vendors, kids’ activities and more.
  • The Daytona Turkey Run will be held November 22nd-25th. This family event takes place on the infield of the Daytona International Speedway, and features a car show, car corral, swap meet, crafts and more!

And don’t forget about Biktoberfest from October 18th-21st! This motorcycle rally draws over 125,000 visitors each year. Watch the pros compete, enjoy live music and more!

Seafood in Daytona

Seafood restaurants in Daytona are always a favorite stop! Here are some places we love to visit:

Riptides Raw Bar & Grill in Ormond Beach is home of the 12 foot shark! They offer live music and all-you-can-eat crab legs.

At Aunt Catfish’s on the River, you can dine directly on the Halifax river. They’re known for a spectacular Sunday brunch, and offer a wonderful family dining experience.

Racing’s North Turn sits on the very location where racing began in Daytona Beach. Here you can find a fun, ocean-front dining experience for the entire family.

A local favorite is Our Deck Down Under, which offers casual river-front dining for the entire family.
