Ready for an adventure? Here are a few favorite places that are currently open (or soon to re-open) in the Texas Hill Country:

  • Fredericksburg: Visit Fredericksburg has all the details you need for up-to-date information about which businesses are open or re-opening. In general, most businesses, shops, attractions, wineries and restaurants are open, some at a reduced capacity.
  • Boerne: The trails at the Cibolo Nature Center are open (and free!). Bring a picnic and enjoy it by the beautiful creek. All the details you need to plan your trip are here. Or plan a visit to the Turnpike Toy Musuem, which is now open! Admission is only $7 for adults, and $5 for children.
  • San Antonio: The Witte Museum is re-opening on May 30th! Explore exhibits concerning Texas heritage, nature and more.

Please note: all Texas state parks are currently requiring purchase of tickets on-line. Find more information here.

Happy travels!

As a native San Antonian and member of the Witte Museum, I can state the museum is better than ever before and worth a visit. Boerne and Fredericksburg trips are always popular and worth while.
