Another popular stop is Sid’s Main Street BBQ, for truly home-cooked, southern-style BBQ. Or perhaps you feel like grilling some of your own? We love the 11th Street Cowboy Bar, which invites you to bring your own meat and grill it on their Texas-sized BBQ pits every Wednesday! They also offer live music, side orders, spices and all the other “fixins” you’ll need!

This resort offers everything we are looking for: rest, pajama days, serene surroundings, games, books, naps and no schedules. Elvira, the resort manager, is the best! We always feel welcome. No one could be better at their job! Dale is friendly and so good to get our bags to our rooms. We always look forward to our stay and they are a big reason!
